$125,000 was awarded in 2024! For 2025, the application period will open again in mid-January. There’s no better experience for the children of our community than to be able to attend a college or university to further their education and **make their life goals a reality**.
The CLT Foundation will assist local high school graduates with financial grants to help them achieve this dream. We believe in the power of education and we believe in the kids of our community, and by providing these opportunities we believe we can help change lives. Scholarships will be between $2,500 - $10,000/year per recipient and be paid directly to the school they are attending.
Eligibility - Candidates eligible for this scholarship will be kids with life altering medical conditions or special medical needs.
Mentoring - Our scholarship program will do more than just provide financial assistance. The CLT Foundation recognizes the benefits of having positive role models in kids lives and, therefore, all scholarship winners will be matched with a mentor from our Foundation. Recipients are required to keep in monthly contact with their mentor during the term of their scholarship. These mentors will be there to answer questions, provide guidance and be another person to help encourage them during their transition to college.
Application period opens January 15 and ends April 4, 2025. Candidates will complete a thorough application process and winners will be announced in the beginning of each summer.

In Memory of Jordan Brigman
In March 2018, our Beers & Burpees Charity Event sponsored a dream experience where Jordan’s UNC Basketball Dream come true. Jordan was battling brain cancer at the time.
“It is discouraging, but I go through it…” - Jordan Brigman
Jordan passed away in December 2018. Our CLT Foundation started this scholarship to keep Jordan’s memory alive and strong. Help us to continue fighting in Jordan’s name by donating to the CLT Foundation to enrich and change the lives of these kids. Photos courtesy of Dream on 3.
